Things To Know Before Downloading The Client
It downloads as a .zip, not a bare .exe.
The site’s download feature doesn’t allow .exe files. The .zip is 3 MB and holds the .exe and a short readme. Visitors are asked to confirm before it saves.

Live scoreboard
Team names, round score and a round timer across the bottom of the screen, ready for comp matches and scrims.
Tag feed
See who tagged who the moment it happens, so you can call the play instead of hunting for it.
Smooth camera
Adjustable smoothing and field of view take the shake out of player movement, so your stream doesn't make anyone motion sick.
Quick player switching
Jump the camera between players in a single press when the action moves across the map.

Questions casters ask
What is a casting client?
A casting client is a spectator tool for Gorilla Tag. It gives a caster or streamer camera control and on-screen information so they can broadcast a match the way esports are shown, instead of streaming one player's headset view.
What does the Amethyst Client app do?
It shows every mod in your BepInEx plugins folder so you can turn each one on or off, lets you start the game with or without mods, and launches Gorilla Tag in one click.
Do I need to be in VR to cast?
Amethyst is controlled from your PC, so you can run cameras with a keyboard and mouse while you commentate.
Does it work on Quest standalone?
No. Mods like Amethyst need the PC version of Gorilla Tag running through Steam.
Can players see that I'm casting?
Players in the room see your gorilla like any other player's. Let them know a caster is in the lobby before the match starts.
Is it free?
Yes. Download it, set it up and start casting.
